# Textarea

A textarea element to input multi-line text.

## Key Props

- `rows`: to set the number of rows.
- `placeholder`: to set a placeholder text.
- `autoresize`: to enable autoresizing the height of the Textarea.
- `maxrows`: to set the maximum number of rows when autoresizing.
- `color`: to change the ring color when the Textarea is focused.
- `variant`: to change the variant of the Textarea.
- `size`: to change the size of the Textarea.
- `icon`: to show an [Icon](/docs/components/icon) inside the Textarea.
- `avatar`: to show an [Avatar](/docs/components/avatar) inside the Textarea.
- `loading`: to show a loading icon on the Textarea.
